AI Features Acknowledgment
Version 2026-10-31. This Acknowledgment is part of the Terms of Service.
This Acknowledgment adds to your agreement with Velaro (the Terms of Service at velaro.com/terms, or your signed MSA or Order Form, which controls if it conflicts). Capitalized words mean what they mean there. "AI Features" means features that respond to or act for your callers, visitors and customers without a person approving each response first. That includes AI voice and phone agents, AI chat bots, automatically sent replies and automated workflows. What AI Features say and do is "AI Output" under the Terms. This Acknowledgment applies from the time you accept it.
- AI Features can be wrong. Responses are generated automatically and can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or based on a misheard request. Calls and chats can be delayed, dropped or not transferred. Velaro does not check each response before it is given.
- You decide how they are used. You choose which features to turn on and what knowledge, instructions and voices they use. You also choose which actions they may take in your connected systems (such as orders, refunds, appointments or record changes) and when a person takes over. Actions in other systems may not be reversible, so limit them accordingly.
- Test and monitor. Test each AI Feature before you rely on it and after you change it. Keep a way to reach a person, and review transcripts regularly. For AI Features, this testing and monitoring is how you meet the Terms' responsibility to review AI Output.
- Not for emergencies or high-risk decisions. AI Features are not an emergency service and cannot reliably recognize emergencies or contact emergency services. Do not use them for the high-risk uses the Terms prohibit, or let them make medical, legal or financial decisions for anyone.
- Notices, consents and regulated data are yours. You are responsible for every notice and consent the law requires where you and the people you contact are located. That includes:
- telling people they are dealing with an AI or automated system, and never letting it claim to be a person;
- consent to record or transcribe calls, including where every party must agree;
- consent for automated, artificial-voice or marketing calls and texts, and honoring opt-outs;
- rules for information about children.
- Responsibility. AI Features are provided as described in the Terms, without a promise that AI Output will be correct. As between you and Velaro, you are responsible for AI Output and for claims by your callers and customers about it, as the Terms' Limitation of Liability and Indemnification by Customer sections state. This does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by Velaro's breach of the agreement, fraud or willful misconduct. This Acknowledgment does not expand or reduce those sections. It does not limit liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
- Providers and changes. AI Features depend on telephone, speech and AI model providers that can be unavailable or change. If this Acknowledgment changes materially, we will ask you to accept the new version. Until you do, the version you accepted applies.
By ticking the box and selecting Accept, you confirm that you are an administrator authorized to act for your organization, that you have read this Acknowledgment, and that you accept it for your organization. It covers every AI Feature you use while this version is current.
